I grew up in Christian family in Toledo, Ohio. Because of my godly family, I came to know and love Jesus at an early age. My faith and understanding grew as I regularly attended Emmanuel Baptist Church and our church school K-12. This is also where I met and later married my high school sweetheart, Dale Bruhl.

We moved to Tehachapi California in 1996 and have attended COBC since 1997. I am a mother of 10 children, 5 of which still live in our home.  Our youngest four children attend Heritage Oak School.  Last year my parents came to California to live with us and are enjoying the experience watching our children grow.

In 2018, after being a stay-at-home mom for most of my married life, I became a part of the COBC administrative staff as a full-time office administrative assistant.  I genuinely enjoy all the interactions that I have with the church family and am excited to continue those relationships for eternity.
