ABOUT CRAIG

My walk with the Lord began about 30 years ago as God used the ministry of Country Oaks to bring my wife and I to Himself, just after we had moved to Tehachapi from the beach area of Los Angeles. We had been learning, fellowshipping, serving and growing here for over a decade when God called us into full-time ministry. Honestly, we never thought it would be at COBC, but the Lord had a plan…. Originally I was hired as the Business Operations Manager (in 2004) but quickly realized the calling to pastoral service. After pursuing a degree in Christian ministry, I went to The Master’s University for further training. In 2017 I earned a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling and certified with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.

My wife, Anita, and I have been married over 30 years and have 6 kids, Drew, Mia, Blake and his wife Cammie, and Emily and her husband Zach. I love hanging out with these guys and really don’t care what we are doing, as long as we’re doing it together.

Country Oaks is truly Christ-centered and has been a warm and loving family to us. We have a heart for the people of this church and are so excited to be a part of what God is doing in and through COBC.
